At the base of the Northern Japan Alps sits this museum where you can appreciate authentic mountain paintings. Works of artists impelled by the “passion for mountains” are on display, including the works of Gen’ichiro Adachi, a forerunner in the world of mountain paintings. A museum shop and café terrace can also be found here.
