A memorial hall dedicated to Shin’ya Nishimaru (1923-2012), who was an explorer, mountaineer, food ecologist, and author. The museum features a butterfly collection, articles from Papua New Guinea and elsewhere, books, photographs, and illustrations. Paleolithic Era ruins are also on-site.
