Visitors can see the works of Rokuzan (Morie) Ogiwara who is called "Japan’s Rodin", creating the best of Japan’s modern sculpture despite his short life of only 30 years. Here built in 1958 thanks to the contributions of nearly 300,000 local schoolchildren, the museum building itself is famous for its beauty any time of year.
